Great new review for Hansel & Gretal's Real Estate Ventures

"Re-imagined fairy tales are not something that would normally from part of my “to read” pile, even on my Kindle. Tina’s story though, “Hansel & Gretel’s Real Estate Adventures” arrived in the pile almost by accident but I’m very glad I picked it up and read it. The title characters hardly appear in the story at all, indeed the quietest character of them all, the gingerbread house itself, almost steals the show. When Tish, and her dog, Darcy, meet Brian, the man who also believes he has brought the house from a now geriatric Gretel, sparks are bound to fly. The enchanted house has other ideas, and the plot thickens when a sudden storm traps them in each other’s company for several days.

The book was a delightful five-star read, well rounded and fleshed out characters and a fast enough plot so you never lose interest. My only quibbles would be the length, it’s such a delightful tale it could be so much longer, and the better for it, and it would be so easy to imagine the other books in the same series, starring of course, the enchanted house itself." ~ David Bowman
