I love Jameson because he's just a regular high-school guy. He IS one of the good guys, but he's still rolling out of bed, grabbing a random T-shirt, a not-too-firty pair of jeans, and then stuffing his feet in the shoes that are probably never untied and heading out the door.He's a guy, and a pretty simple one at that.
Sky is nearly the girl version of Jameson. After growing up in Alaska, she's somewhere WARM. She lives to be in the short skirts and short shorts that Alaska was almost always too cold for. She's tall and thin, and is aware that guys watch her, but it doesn't really affect her in the sense that if she's not interested in them, it doesn't matter, and doesn't stroke her ego the way it would to some people.
She's constantly in tennis shoes - simple CC's, or keds, or chucks maybe, and a hoodie is probably the warmest thing she'd ever wear in the heat of Vegas.
Sarah used to dress very simply, but when senior year hit, she was tired of being invisible. She's still a bit of an over-achiever, and a really good girl, so she's more modest than Sky, but spends a lot more time thinking about clothes and putting outfits together.
Sarah's a girl who would spend an hour or two getting ready. Sky would spend less than an hour, and Jay would rinse off after the pool and throw on his clothes :-D

About the Author
Jolene grew up in Wasilla, Alaska. She graduated from Southern Utah University with a degree in political science and French, which she used to teach math to middle schoolers.
After living in Washington, Utah and Las Vegas, she now resides in Alaska with her husband, and two children. Aside from writing, Jolene sews, plays the guitar, sings when forced, and spends as much time outside as possible.
She is also the author of The Next Door Boys and the upcoming Knee Deep.
