It’s dark.
Pulsating music fills the air.
Dim lighting flare illuminating only the platform-a stage in the center of the room stretching down and elevated slightly above the ground in a T-shaped formation.
The anticipation builds among the crowd of impeccably dressed fashionistas, well known editors, popular celebrities, and the hottest stylists.
They are but spectators seated in small cheap chairs surrounding the platform, and then it happens…. and collectively breathes are caught and held as if in a trance watching…
[Meanwhile, backstage stage hands, make-up artists, and designers primp and prepare beautiful delicate giants.]
The first model graces the catwalk and thus begins her trademark sashay…
The crowd begins to whisper.
HOT NOT HOT NOT HOT NOT!
And then I wake up in a cold sweat.
