Fashion Friday is a weekly meme created by FireStarBooks in order for book lovers to post any fashion related idea or image that they thought would be a great match for books on Friday.

Embrace the Forbidden

What if there were teens whose lives literally depended on being bad influences?

This is the reality for sons and daughters of fallen angels.

Tenderhearted Southern girl Anna Whitt was born with the sixth sense to see and feel emotions of other people. She’s aware of a struggle within herself, an inexplicable pull toward danger, but Anna, the ultimate good girl, has always had the advantage of her angel side to balance the darkness within. It isn’t until she turns sixteen and meets the alluring Kaidan Rowe that she discovers her terrifying heritage and her willpower is put to the test. He’s the boy your daddy warned you about. If only someone had warned Anna.

Forced to face her destiny, will Anna embrace her halo or her horns?
Thoughts: This cover is like a wet dream of fantasy Haute Couture.  The puckering detailing on this classic mermaid evening gown along with the fanning out of the fin dominates.  It demands immediate attention!  It's no wonder that besides the synopsis, this title is coveted among YA lovers and book shelf hoarders worldwide. I love EVERYTHING about this gown.  Unfortunately you won't be able to find an exact duplicate outside of a true fashion house.  Yet today I'd be willing to try bringing acceptable substitutes of this look to the real world...

Final Words: I can't wait to get a physical copy of Sweet Evil!  With my crazy long TBR list, it may be a while before I get to it, however it will be darn pretty on my nightstand.  Which rendition of the mermaid gown is your favorite?  Which star wore it best?  Isn't this the sexiest style EVER created?
